I have 9+ years of working experience in UX research and UX design. UX research and design is all about understanding and bringing together people's needs, feelings, and goals into products. Impact for me is when research creates an informed and actionable opinion that drives the creation or iteration of a product or service. I like working cross-functionally because empathy isn't just for UX practitioners -- it's for everyone involved in creating products for people.
